Hi Jeff,

Interesting project!

I'm currently looking for an easy to implement KM solution for our office too.

I was thinking of using a combination of Razuna (Open Source Digital Asset Management), Eucalyptus (Open Source Cloud) and WordPress (with a Razuna Plugin).

Have you heard about these products? And if yes, what is your experience with them?

Totally agree, Dave. I'd love to see a version that worked with my iPhoto library, or even my Flickr photo stream. And photos are just the beginning. This field is ripe for the picking...

Wow! That's really cool! I wonder if they've got any plans to build a non-phone app that might be able to get the data off iPhoto?

I think this is going to be the decade of the infographic. It seems like Mashable has a new infographic nearly every day, and many of the most "shared" stories seem like they're infographics as well.

Wonder how many other infographic-makers will be emerging if this one proves popular enough. I'd love an infographic view of my apps and usage.

This is my problem now. How to stop Twitter spam followers. I've been receiving email notifications that I have new followers a day, that's about 40 followers daily. Thanks for this tip. I'll definitely deactivate my autofollow or perhaps unfollow them manually.

Good Morning, my name is Jeff, and I am sixteen years old. I was wondering if you could do a blog about the question that I am about to ask, or maybe reply me back in a message because I have asked many people but none has understand what I am really walking about. My question is, "is it okay to be yourself, even though you know that when you became yourself, it could hurt your social standing and by social standing, I mean your friend, family and close relatives? I am struggling with both ideas of being myself, and not being myself. Most people said to be that it is okay to be myself without giving me any advice on how I should. Every time Genesis releases a new child theme, I'm tempted to go download and install it on my own site. Of course this presents a problem because I'm switching and changing and breaking things in the process.

Anyway, pretty neat to see this one in action. I've been wanting to use it to replace my current posterous account - I currently use it to post photos from events, and not much else.

Thanks Jeff. As an existing BackupBuddy user, it was good to read your thoughts on VaultPress. I think that for my situation as a developer of SME websites (typically not eCommerce), BackupBuddy is fine.

And the server migration stuff really is great (apart from occasional character encoding issues).

I finished Vertical last night (still adjusting to the 11 hour time shift between California and Abu Dhabi). I enjoyed it -- except for the author's predisposition to use five-dollar words. I enjoy stretching my vocabulary, but in this case, it felt gratuitous -- as if Rex had a copy of Roget's Thesaurus at his side and was continually looking up increasing obscure synonyms to throw on the page.

You could argue that Miles was a pompous ass when it came to language, but at times it felt more like Rex was the ass. Maybe he's just that good. When I met him at the wine tasting, he came across entirely personable and very enjoyable.

At any rate, it was a fun read, and if you enjoyed Sideways, you'll likely enjoy Vertical.
